Bareknuckle Boxing Ambitions of Invicta and Muay Thai Fighter Christine FereaMust Love MMA’s Susan Cingari spoke to Invicta FC and Lion Fight Promotions fighter Christine Ferea about her bareknuckle boxing ambitions. Ferea, who defeated The Ultimate Fighter 26 contestant Rachael Ostovich at Invicta FC 21, held an unbeaten 13-0 amateur Muay Thai record and defeated Calie Cutler on her pro debut at Lion Fight 22, is now setting her sights on bareknuckle boxing. With the recent success of Bare Knuckle FC at bringing the veteran sport to America’s main stage with the first legal, sanctioned bareknuckle fight since since 1889, and the storming success of former UFC fighter “Rowdy” Bec Rawlings at BKFC 1, Ferea sees an opportunity for female fighters unlike anything available in the world of martial arts. Tune in as Susan Cingari asks about Ferea’s punishing training schedule, her motivations, and what it felt like to fight with a broken hand. Bare Knuckle Boxing Fighting Championship is a new promotion in which the fighters do not wear padding or gloves on their hands. BKFC2 was announced today and will stream live on August 25, 2018.
