Twenty-five-year-old, mixed Martial Arts (MMA) featherweight, Jordan Parsons is fighting for his life. Tragically, his leg was amputated after being struck by a hit-and-run driver over the weekend in Delray Beach, Florida on Sunday. Police are searching for a silver Range Rover Sport, likely a 2002 or 2013 model, in connection with Sunday’s horrific crash. The vehicle’s driver side mirror is missing, and it likely has damage to the driver’s side headlight and bumper area.
Jordan was walking west across Federal at Lindell Boulevard Sunday at approximately 12:35 a.m.on the south side of the intersection. Delray Beach police say the car hit Parsons and kept moving, leaving him lying in the roadway.
Officials say it’s unclear who had the right of way — Parsons or the Range Rover. However, what is clear is that the driver should not have left the scene.
The hit-and-run occurred on Lindell Blvd. and South Federal Highway in Delray Beach, Florida.
