Boxing Moms hits the boardwalk Saturday, when the show opens its final day of filming with breakfast at the Sugar Factory. After a week of adrenaline for the mothers whose sons will fight Friday and Saturday, Boxing Moms Creator and Executive Producer Michelle Rosado will treat the unsung heroes of fight week to the restaurant’s “Eats, Sweets & Treats.”
The breakfast will provide an opportunity for the show’s cast and crew to reflect on the highs and lows of fight week – the boxers making weight, the hours leading into fight night, and the moments after these strong women watch their children put their lives on the line in the name of entertainment and glory.
“We’re planning on an intense week,” said Rosado. “We will start the week filming in Allentown, following one of our moms as she gets her family ready to make the trip to AC. The fighters will be cutting weight, dealing with media obligations, and the boxing moms have to keep everything together while maintaining their sanity. I’m really looking forward to showing the world all that these women go through during fight week.”
The first episode of Boxing Moms will drop by month’s end on Youtube and IGTV. Boxing fans who would like a preview of the premier can visit www.ragingbabe.com/boxingmoms to sign up for the exclusive pre-screening link.
