Demetrious Johnson will face ONE champion Adriano Moraes for the flyweight belt at ONE: REIGN OF DYNASTIES.
Moraes (18-3) last fought at ONE: HERO’S ASCENT in January 2019, where he defeated longtime rival and then-titleholder Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio. The 31-year-old Brazilian won the bout via unanimous decision.
Moraes has waited until the conclusion of the ONE Flyweight World Grand Prix to defend his title. Johnson (30-3), emerged the winner of the eight-man tournament, submitting Yuya “Little Piranha” Wakamatsu at ONE: A NEW ERA, then taking a UD win over Tatsumitsu “The Sweeper” Wada in the semifinals at ONE: DAWN OF HEROES. He faced Danny “The King” Kingad in the finale at ONE: CENTURY PART I in October, and won via UD to capture the silver belt and secure his World Title bout with Moraes.
ONE: REIGN OF DYNASTIES takes place April 11 in Chongqing, China.
