Colby Covington Finally Gets Title Shot Against Kamaru Usman

Colby Covington is finally getting his shot at the welterweight belt. The former interim champ is set to face Kamaru Usman at UFC 245 on Dec. 14.

It’s the third title bout on the card, which also includes a featherweight title fight between Max Holloway and Alexander Volkanovski, and a women’s bantamweight title bout between Amanda Nunes and Germaine de Randamie.

This is The American Dream vs The Nebraskan Nightmare. It’s the Undisputed UFC Welterweight Title.

“Chaos” has complained bitterly about the UFC booking other fighters ahead of him, and of offering less than he thought he deserved to challenge for the belt. With a title bout officially booked, Covington can finally get his shot at the undisputed belt.
