Walt Harris has withdrawn from the headline bout at UFC on ESPN 7 against Alistair Overeem after breaking news on social media last week that his 19-year-old stepdaughter Aniah is missing.
The Auburn police have asked for public assistance in locating Aniah Haley Blanchard, who reportedly last communicated with a friend on Wednesday, Oct. 23, just before midnight.
Blanchard is described as light in complexion, 5’6”, 125 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black dress, tan duck boots, and black stockings.
Anyone with information on Blanchard’s whereabouts is asked to call the Auburn Police Division Detective Section at 334-501-3140, the anonymous tip line at 334-246-1391, or the 24-hour non-emergency number at 334-501-3100.
A statement from Auburn police Thursday said evidence found inside the vehicle “determined that she was harmed and is considered to be a victim of foul play.” UFC President and LHW champ Jon Jones have each offered $25,000 reward for information, in addition to $5,000 each from the state and an anonymous donor.
Our prayers are with Harris and his family.
