Conor McGregor has pleaded guilty to assaulting a man in a Dublin bar. The incident occurred in April and made headlines in August after TMZ obtained footage from the pub.
McGregor appeared in court in Dublin this morning and pleaded guilty to a single charge of assault. He was fined €1000. He also issued an apology to the victim, Desmond Keogh, who was not present in court. McGregor has also compensated Mr. Keogh privately.
“What I did was very wrong and I’d like to apologize again to the injured party and today before the court and assure you that nothing of this nature will happen again,” McGregor said, according to The Journal.
