Susan Cingari speaks with filmmaker Maxine Davis about her film covering the “Women’s Outward Bound” program in the USA in 1965. Just 24 women survived the wilderness school, living in the woods for a month and enduring three days all alone. Davis is perfectly placed to bring the story of the life changing class to the big screen, having been part of it herself.
She spent four years tracking down her classmates and reuniting them after 47 years to share fond memories and life experiences.
