Fighters hit the scale and faced off today, one day before Combate Americas’ live televised, eight-bout MMA extravaganza at The Stockton Arena, live on television in the U.S. on both Univision (12 a.m. ET/PT) and TUDN (12 a.m. ET/9 p.m.PT) and in Mexico on Televisa (11 p.m. CT), on Friday, December 13, 2019.
The weigh-in event was also streamed live via Facebook Watch and YouTube. Tomorrow’s preliminary bout card will also stream live on Facebook Watch before the main card television broadcast.
Main event opponents Horacio Gutierrez (6-3) of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico and Marlon Gonzales (15-4-2) of Lima, Peru weighed in at 145 pounds and 145.4 pounds respectively ahead of their featherweight (145 lbs.) fight.
In the co-main featherweight event, Javier “Blair” Reyes (8-3) of Bogota, Colombia weighed in at 144.7 pounds while his opponent Joe “Nine Lives” Neal (6-4) of Hayward, California weighed in at 145 pounds.
In a featured women’s bantamweight bout, Maritza Sanchez (5-6) of El Dorado, CA and the undefeated Tina Pettigrew (5-0) of San Diego, CA weighed in at 134.8 pounds and 135.3 pounds respectively.
Wrapping up the main card with a lightweight bout, Hugo Lujan (3-5) of Soledad, CA weighed in at 155.7 pounds before facing off against Samuel Alvarez (4-3) of Manteca, CA, who weighed in at 155.5 pounds.
