Sergio Moraes has been released from the UFC following a knockout loss to James Krause at UFC Sao Paulo. “The Panther” has lost his last three fights. He was 8-5-1 with the promotion as a welterweight, after finishing runner-up in the middleweight tournament of The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil season one.
Speaking on Instagram in his native Portuguese, Moraes said: Unfortunately I did not get the result I would like. But I will not give up. Thanks to everyone who stood by me, sent positive energy and cheered for me. Let’s turn the page and move on to the next one. 🙏
