Yesterday Valor Bare Knuckle, the promotion founded by former WWE and UFC fighter Ken Shamrock, announced the postponement of Valor BK 2. Originally slated for January 11, 2020 at the Kissimmee Civic Center in Kissimmee, Florida, the event was canceled after concerns were raised internally about whether the show could meet the high standard set by the first event, which took place in September in North Dakota.
It is our absolute belief that we are obligated to deliver the highest quality entertainment to our fans each and every time we host an event.

After much deliberation, we felt that this standard would not be met on the originally scheduled date. Given the short time amount of time until VBK2, an alternate solution wasn’t feasible.
In a statement on the Valor website the promotion says the event, due to be headlined by Valor BK heavyweight champion Mark Godbeer vs. Lavar Johnson, has been postponed until further notice.
