UFC Brasilia Headliner Misses Weight; Bellator, BKFC Canceled Amid Coronavirus Fears

Updates are coming thick and fast as fight promotions struggle to decide what to do about live events when states and cities are restricting large gatherings of people. Last night, Bare Knuckle FC made the decision to postpone their BKFC 11 card until June 20.

Yesterday, Bellator made the decision to host Bellator 241 behind closed doors at the Mohegan Sun Arena. This afternoon, that decision was reversed and the card postponed.

Finally, the headliner for UFC Brasilia was jeopardized when Kevin Lee missed the weigh-in window, then tipped the scales 2.5lb over the 156lb lightweight limit. Another hour of cutting saw him drop only an extra half-pound. While Charles Oliveira says he will go ahead with the bout, the percentage forfeit Lee will pay is still being decided. The fights will be held at the 16,000-seat Nilson Nelson Gymnasium with no audience in attendance.
