Weigh-In Results for Combate Americas Tito vs Alberto Fight Card

Fighting icons Tito Ortiz and Alberto Del Rio hit the scale and faced off today, one day before their highly anticipated Combate Americas’ pay-per-view winner takes all showdown at The Payne Arena on December 7th.

The weigh-in event was also streamed live via Facebook Watch. Tomorrow’s preliminary bout card will also stream live on Facebook Watch before the main card pay per view ($29.99) broadcast.

UFC Hall of Famer and former World Light Heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz (20-12-1) of Huntington Beach, Calif., and multiple-time WWE Heavyweight Champion and former PRIDE and DEEP MMA star Alberto “El Patrón” Rodriguez (9-5) (formerly “Alberto Del Rio” of the WWE) of San Antonio, Texas by way of San Luis Potosi, SLP, Mexico weighed in at 209 pounds and 209 pounds respectively ahead of their 210-pound catchweight battle.

In the co-main event, which features the first Combate Americas women’s world championship fight in history, 21-year-old knockout artist Melissa “Super Mely” Martinez (6-0) of Mexico City, Mexico weighed in at 114.2 pounds while fellow ferocious, world-ranked star Desiree “Dirty Dez” Yanez (5-1) of Waco, Texas weighed 114.2 pounds before their strawweight (115 pounds) showdown.

Featured flyweight (125 pounds) fighters world-ranked, former champion Dani Barez (11-4) of Valencia, Spain. Barez and rising star João Camilo (6-3) weighed in at 125.2 pounds and 125.7 pounds respectively.

In the featured featherweight (145 pounds) bout, young rivals from Mexico and the U.S., respectively, Levy “El Negro” Marroquin (12-3) and Enrique “Baby Bull” Gonzalez (8-3) hit the scales at 147.7 pounds and 148.2pounds.

In an exciting featured 150-pound catchweight bout, Gaston “Tonga” Reyno (8-2, 2 NC) of Montevideo, Uruguay weighed in at 149 pounds while his opponent Rey “The Warrior” Trujillo (24-27) of Houston, Texas weighed in at 149.7 pounds.

Wrapping up the main card with a featured female 118-pound catchweight bout, former Lucha Underground world champion and undefeated professional boxer turned unbeaten MMA upstart, “Sexy” Dulce Garcia (1-0) of Monterrey, N.L., Mexico weighed on 119.5 pounds while Anali Lopez Hernandez (0-0) of McAllen via Veracruz, Mexico weighed in at 118.2 pounds.
